If your Discovery Sport or Evoque has critically low oil level warning on the dash but the oil  level is at the normal level do not add more oil, what has happened is that the engine ECU has seen low oil pressure and so thinks the oil level is low, But the most likely cause is a sticking piston cooling jet which is stopping the oil pressure building up.
