Loan cars
What to expect
Our fleet of loan cars comprises of mostly Land Rover Freelanders and Jaguars (some auto and some manual). We have chosen to run vehicles of 10 years or older, so as to keep costs down. They are adequately presentable and reliable for the purpose of keeping our customers mobile locally, whilst we are looking after their vehicle.
Dogs
We have some lovely walks in the local area including the beach very close.
We do ask that if you are transporting your dog you tell us in advance so we can give you one of our dog friendly vehicles.
Insurance
We require you to have insurance to cover the use of our loan cars.(Now not normal on most insurance as vehicles owned by a business)
You will need to hold a full UK driving license and be over 25 years old.
We can arrange insurance cover for you for a £20.00 fee.
Fuel
Our loan car will have a small amount of fuel and we would ask you to replace the fuel used.
Local collection and delivery service
Free collection / delivery
We operate a local collection and delivery service. (Approx 10 mile radius). This service is normally booked 5 days in advance. We would ask that we both collect and deliver your vehicle, as our driver normally leaves a "run around" car with you upon collection. Of course you are welcome to bring our "run around" to us to collect your car, if you so wish.
Your vehicle will need to be in a usable condition and road legal to allow us to collect it - If it has breakdown it will need to be recovered by a recovery company which is chargeable.
Paid collection / delivery
We are happy to collect your vehicle outside our Free collection area for a small fee, to cover the cost of fuel and our drivers time.
We travel to Ashford, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells to collect vehicles and the normal cost is only £10.00
